Ben Keukert

As a 24-year-old film and media composer from Germany, Ben Keukert made his short film debut in 2023 with Makaio Frazier's NICK. The next episode of this creative partnership, which was initially established via Kickstarter, was The Way We Carry Water by Frazier's newly founded film production company Chile Line Media. The short film was created by a talented cast and crew over the course of an entire year and brought recognition to Chile Line Media as it premiered on October 19th 2025 during Santa Fe International Film Festival. With plans of a third joint project emerging already, both Frazier and Keukert are also seeking opportunities to work with a broader variety of people. Whereas Ben Keukert ultimately aims to compose music for more short films while working towards his first feature-length movie, he is equally interested in utilizing his extensive musical background in various new directions, such as video game soundtracks or music production. The goal always remains to collaborate with talented people and create groundbreaking art together.
